It’s not just actual ‘decks’ of playing cards that I’m interested in. There are many other card-related products out there, from shower curtains, cushions and mugs, to clocks, iphone cases and drawers – see the image, right. This section though will be dedicated to playing card wall art. Before you think that’s just an oversized picture of a playing card, think again.
There are many different images available, in many different styles by many different artists. Literally, you would have no problem finding something you like. Whether you wanted several prints from the same artist as a cluster on your bedroom wall, or one large piece of loft art for your ‘man cave’ there’s something sure to suit everyone.
“No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist.” Oscar Wilde
I’ve picked out some examples of art that I like myself. And as you’ll see, these are not simply enlarged reproductions of actual playing cards. I like things that are different. ‘Quirky’ is a word that seems to follow me around a lot. So I do tend to go for abstract. These pieces of playing card art have just grabbed me in the same way as a particular deck of cards might whilst another might not.
Having said that, of course, we are not all the same. And so I am more than happy to showcase some of the more traditional works of playing card art here too. I hope you enjoy :)

The joker by Dan DiPaolo is very interesting, and my grandson wants to know if I could wallpaper his room in jokers. I have to admit I could live with it.
Aw Donald……. your grandson has had a brilliant idea!! Though I’ve just checked and there doesn’t seem to be any Joker wallpaper out there, so you’d have to use actual Joker cards. I don’t know the size of his room but I’m guessing you may start collecting!! Thanks for your comment :)
You have an interesting hobbie here and I can see how some of the artwork pieces can be enticing. I love that little set of drawers you have pictured
I know Debra, isn’t it adorable? The same company make these with children’s books instead of cards. Thanks for your comment, glad you liked the site :)
